I need help working through Arduino Uno board power consumption issues. challenges using arduino Uno for a quadcopter project.

There doesnt seem to be many people using arduino as a board for these kinds of projects. I am having issues with too much voltage needing to be used for all components while needing to calibrate through USB and lipo at the same time. It ends up short circuiting my board.

I have even added diodes, resistors and a level shift converter and it still burned up. I am wondering if Arduino boards are not the best option for this type of project.
