Page setup

1. Add new SQL datasource and Gridview from tool box

2. Name datasource sqlMovies and name gridview grdMovies

Datasource Setup

1. Click the smart tag for the datasource and use existing connection from last lab

 2. Select the following from the list and finish your setup: 

3. Link the datasource to your gridview: 

Run your program to test

Adding update functionality

1. Reconfigure datasource by specifiying custom sql statement and hit next: 

2. Select Update and select Query Builder (notice the Delete for later assignment):

3. Add movie table to query builder

4. Add ID Director Title Description to Column and in new value make them equal to @Id etc for each one:

5. In the update query add: UPDATE Movies SET Title = @Title, Director = @Director, Description = @Description WHERE (Id = @ID) 

6. Hit ok and finish setup

7. Select enable editing in gridview  

8. Add panel and fields  

9. Double click button to go into .cs code add the following

10. Add to your datasource the Insert query
